This group project is an interactive exhibit that showcases how branding has evolved over time.
The viewer can approach the installation to scroll through each decade, where a matrix of embedded videos play simultaneously in order to give an overwhelming visual and auditory impression of the zeitgeist of a particular decade – evoking the experience of standing in the center of Times Square.
A curtain of receipt paper is printed with with information about each matrix tile. This feature provides overt symbolism of consumer culture, in addition to functionality in defining the exhibition space and displaying information.
